Our Story

Working on his mixed farm in Aberdeenshire, Marc Skivington knew there had to be a better way to do things. A better way to protect workers from harm, to keep machines operational, and make his farm as safe as possible. He set about creating a system that would work for farmers like him, customisable to a huge range of tasks and operations. A system that could transform health and safety in the farming industry – reducing breakdowns, cutting costs and saving lives.

Our Technology

In 2020, Marc turned his plans into a stunning new app and web portal, powered by the latest Microsoft Azure technology. Using the best practice functionality we’re all accustomed to with smartphone apps, Smart Farmer is quick and simple to use across all devices.

It puts state-of-the-art technology directly into farmers’ and operators’ hands at the touch of a button or click, eliminating pointless paperwork, misplaced files, and forgotten documents. And it’s always online so your team always have access to the information they need to stay safe.
